On August 25, 2025, Tencent Cloud officially launches a new billing model: the Prepaid Global SMS Package. Details are as follows:

● Starting from August 25, 2025, new users activating the Global SMS service will be set to the prepaid billing model by default. To use the service, users must first purchase a Global SMS Package. Service will be suspended once the package balance is exhausted.
● The Global SMS Package supports sending messages to 220+ countries/regions worldwide (excluding Singapore; SMS messages sent to Singapore will be billed using the Daily Pay-As-You-Go method). Usage will be deducted in real time based on volume. For details, refer to the Billing Overview and Pricing.
