Dear Tencent Cloud user,
To further enhance the protection capabilities and user experience of the CWPP product, we plan to adjust and upgrade the features of the Basic Edition. This upgrade aims to provide you with more comprehensive and practical security protection. The details are as follows:
Upgrade schedule:19:00–23:00, Wednesday, December 24, 2025 to Thursday, December 25, 2025 (Beijing time)
Upgrade content:Basic Edition feature adjustment and upgrade
1) New features
● High-risk exposed service detection: scans high-risk services and helps you promptly identify risks from exposed services.
● Password-free Lighthouse login via QR code: supports QR code login, making the login process more secure and convenient.
● Intrusion investigation toolkit: provides a free download of the T-sec intrusion investigation mini tool to help you complete a closed loop of detection and response.
● Security weekly report: provides regular security reports.
2) Adjustments to existing features

Impact of the upgrade:
This upgrade will not affect the existing features of paid editions. It will only have the following impacts on Basic Edition users:
● Virus Scanning trial results will no longer be limited to 5 entries. You can view all detection results via Virus Scanning > Alert List (users who have already used the trial in the past cannot experience it again).
● Vulnerability management will be changed to regularly push high-risk and popular vulnerabilities. Please pay attention to related vulnerability notifications.
● The Security Baseline feature will no longer be provided as a trial. If you need this feature, we recommend upgrading to the Pro or Ultimate Edition.
