Due to Tencent Cloud business adjustments, the Pulsar Virtual Cluster product stopped selling in March 2023 (UTC+8), and is scheduled to officially stop all services on March 31, 2027 (UTC+8). We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
II. Product Retirement and Milestone Overview

1. EOM (Effective March 31, 2023) We recommend upgrading your Pulsar Virtual Cluster to the Professional Edition before EOMS.
The product has stopped selling. After the EOM announcement date, no new purchases of Pulsar Virtual Cluster (all versions) are allowed. Before the EOMS deadline, existing Pulsar Virtual Clusters can continue to operate normally.
2. EOMS (Effective March 31, 2027)
The product will stop all services. After the EOMS date, all functional services of Pulsar Virtual Cluster (all versions) will be discontinued. Cluster resources will be decommissioned and no technical support will be provided.
Depending on the product or feature lifecycle stage, there are certain limitations on purchasing, usage, and service support. (Note: The Pulsar Virtual Cluster product does not involve the EOSS lifecycle stage.)

III. Migration Plan and Alternatives
1.The Pulsar team will periodically publish announcements (via in-console messages, emails, SMS, and official website notices) to notify customers with existing virtual clusters.
The Pulsar product and technical teams, in collaboration with customer success and service teams, will proactively communicate with and guide customers to migrate to the Professional Edition Pulsar Cluster.

Q1: I didn't receive any notification. Why is the product suddenly being retired?
A: We stopped selling this product in March 2023 (UTC+8) and have recommended customers to migrate to the Professional Edition in our official documentation since then.
Q2: Will existing users' services or pricing be affected after the retirement?
A: After retirement, all related components and features of Pulsar Virtual Cluster will be taken offline and will no longer be available. We recommend that you plan your migration as early as possible based on your business requirements. The Pulsar technical team has prepared migration guides and support to help you complete the transition smoothly.
Q3: Can I request an extension for the migration deadline?
A: If you have special circumstances, please submit a support ticket for technical assistance.
Q4: Is there an alternative product after the retirement?
A: Yes. The Pulsar Professional Edition Cluster is fully compatible with all existing features of the Virtual Cluster, and offers improved stability and ongoing technical development.
