[Tencent Cloud ADP] Announcement on the Upgrade of the Tencent Cloud ADP to a Subscription-Based Billing Model
2026-02-13 14:47:41

Dear Tencent Cloud User,

The Tencent Cloud Agent Development Platform will be rolled out in phases via gradual gray release from now until March 6, 2026 (Friday), Beijing Time, and will officially adopt a subscription-based billing model. At that time, previously offered prepaid resources—such as large model pay-as-you-go postpaid billing and knowledge base expansion packages—will no longer be available for purchase.

1. Introduction to Subscription Plans

The subscription plans adopt a prepaid model and do not support postpaid billing. The product will provide the following three types of resources:

  • · Plan Packages
Three editions are available: Starter, Team, and Enterprise. Different plans vary in features and resource quotas. Each plan package includes Credit resources and knowledge base capacity, and supports monthly or annual subscriptions. For details, please refer to Billing Overview (Plan Subscription) and make purchases via the Purchase Page. (Due to phased gray rollout, users not yet included in the rollout will continue to see the previous billing resources.)
  • · Prepaid Resource Packages
Also referred to as Credit packages. Credits can be used to offset usage generated by plugin calls, RAG models, generation models, reasoning models, knowledge base capacity, and platform services.
  • · Dedicated Concurrency Packages
Billed under a dedicated concurrency licensing model, these packages provide independently deployed resource services for certain generation and reasoning models. After purchasing dedicated concurrency for a specific model, billing will be based on the number of concurrency units, with no additional token charges.

Please note that Prepaid Resource Packages and Dedicated Concurrency Packages are add-on resources. You must first purchase a Plan, and add-ons can only be purchased and used during the validity period of the Plan Package.

2. Impact on Existing Users

After the subscription plans are launched, previously purchased prepaid resources or enabled postpaid services may continue to be used. For new prepaid purchases, only the three resource types included in the new subscription model will be available. Previously offered prepaid resources will no longer be sold.

If existing users wish to upgrade to the subscription-based billing model, they only need to purchase any Plan. After the upgrade, postpaid billing will no longer be supported.

If an existing user has purchased and is using dedicated concurrency billing items, please contact us via a support ticket before purchasing a Plan for consultation.

3. Refund Policy for Purchased Resources

If an existing user purchases a new Plan , any previously purchased prepaid resources that are unused or unexpired, as well as any enabled postpaid services, will automatically become invalid.

You may choose to purchase a subscription plan after exhausting your existing resource packages, or purchase and use a subscription plan immediately and apply for a refund of the unused or unexpired prepaid resources. Refund requests for unused or unexpired prepaid resources may be submitted via “Submit a Ticket.”

Under the subscription-based billing model, please refer to the Credit Resource Usage Scenarios (Plan Subscription) documentation for specific settlement rules and billing scope.

Thank you for your understanding and support of Tencent Cloud. If you have any questions, please submit a support ticket, and we will assist you as soon as possible.
