Dear Valued Customer,
Tencent Cloud will be performing a scheduled SSL certificate update for the Cloud API service on March 2026. The changes will be deployed in a staggered rollout across the regions.
Impact:
As certificate authorities will no longer issue certificates supporting mutual TLS (Client Authentication) after 2026, this Cloud API update will retain the Client Authentication feature. If your internal systems or security requirements are currently using the Cloud API certificate for mutual authentication, please update your configurations as soon as possible to avoid potential business impact due to future changes by certificate authorities.
During the upgrade period, your API requests will not be affected. However, due to differences in customer environments, unforeseen issues may occur. We recommend monitoring your request success rate alerts.
If you notice fluctuations in success rates in a specific region during the certificate update, please restart your service so that your application can re-establish a connection to the Cloud API. If the issue persists, please contact our support team.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your continued trust and support of Tencent Cloud. If you have any further questions, please contact us by submitting a ticket .
