To continuously enhance product capabilities and provide a unified entry point for large model services, Tencent Cloud has completed an architecture upgrade and service integration for its large model offerings. The original Tencent Cloud Large Model Legacy Platform, including

To support a smooth transition, migrated users may apply for complimentary experience credits, valid for 3 months. The legacy platform will be discontinued in phases according to the following schedule. Please review the timeline carefully and plan your migration in advance.

1.Sales Suspension at 00:00 on June 30, 2026, Beijing Time

All products on the legacy platform will no longer be available for purchase or resource creation. Both new and existing users will no longer be able to purchase new products, create resources, or generate API Keys. Existing services currently in use will remain temporarily unaffected and can continue to be called and used normally.

2.Full Service Discontinuation at 00:00 on September 30, 2026, Beijing Time

The legacy platform console and API interfaces will be shut down. Platform features will no longer be accessible or callable, and the service will be officially discontinued.

To further enhance product monitoring performance and optimize the monitoring system architecture, Tencent Cloud will comprehensively optimize and upgrade the monitoring metric collection framework of TencentDB for SQL Server. The details are as follows:

After optimization, the new monitoring architecture can significantly improve the performance metric collection efficiency, reducing the CPU time slice consumption by 90% compared to the old architecture.

Release start time: May 13, 2026 (UTC+8).

Implementation method: The switchover between the old and new monitoring systems will be performed during the instance maintenance window within the release period.

During the switchover, instances with different architectures will experience temporary impacts:

Instances with cloud disk architecture: Monitoring gaps of approximately 30 seconds and brief CPU spikes may occur.

Instances with local disk architecture: Monitoring gaps of approximately 1 minute may occur.

The above impacts only affect monitoring data display and do not affect the normal business operations or database services of the instances.

[TencentDB for SQL Server] Announcement on the Monitoring System Optimization

To enhance the stability of cloud databases and the security of data migration, TencentDB for SQL Server provides an enhanced security protection trigger feature. This feature enforces strict limitation policies on specific types of triggers. Please read the following details.

In TencentDB for SQL Server, only the following triggers can be migrated, created, or modified:

CREATE_PROCEDURE, ALTER_PROCEDURE, DROP_PROCEDURE

CREATE_FUNCTION, ALTER_FUNCTION, DROP_FUNCTION

CREATE_STATISTICS, DROP_STATISTICS, UPDATE_STATISTICS

DDL_TABLE_EVENTS, DDL_VIEW_EVENTS, and other DDL event groups

Triggers other than the types listed above cannot be created or modified.

If a migrated file contains triggers other than those listed above, the triggers are automatically deleted after the migration is completed.
