Self-Service Refund
Yearly/monthly subscription Elastic MapReduce (EMR) Serverless TCBase instances support partial refunds. You can perform self-service operations in the console.
After a yearly/monthly subscription EMR Serverless TCBase instance is refunded via self-service, the instance will be suspended, its status changes to terminating or isolated, and it will enter recycling isolation. Once it enters recycling isolation, no fees related to the instance will be incurred.
After isolation, the instance will be retained in the recycle bin for 7 days and will be inaccessible. If you wish to restore a yearly/monthly subscription instance that has been self-refunded, you can renew it within the retention period for recovery.
In cases of suspected abnormal or malicious refund requests, Tencent Cloud reserves the right to refuse your refund application.
For products purchased during promotional activities, if the refund rules conflict with the activity rules, the activity rules shall prevail. If the activity rules state that refunds are not supported, no refund application can be made.
Self-Service Refund Rules
Refund amount = Actual payment amount of the order - Consumed resource amount

Actual Payment Amount of the Order | Payment amount of the order, excluding discounts and vouchers. |
Consumed Resource Amount | Calculated according to the following policy: For used instance fees, if a full month has been reached on the day of refund initiation, it will be deducted as a full month. Otherwise, it will be deducted based on pay-as-you-go billing. The used portion is calculated accurate to the hour. If the refund amount is less than or equal to 0, it will be calculated as 0 and resources will be reclaimed. |
Note:
Vouchers used when products are purchased are not refundable. The non-voucher portion of the payment will be refunded to the payer's Tencent Cloud account according to the payment method (cash/gift credits) and payment ratio.
