Binding Security Information for Members

Overview

This document describes how to bind the email and verification mobile number for a created member account in the TCO console. After successful binding, you can use the email address to log in to the member account or remove the member from the organization as needed.
Note:
Currently, you cannot bind security information for invited member accounts.

Directions

Binding security information

1. Log in to the TCO console and click Member account management on the left sidebar.
2. On the Member account management page, click Bind security information on the right of the target member account, The details are as shown below:

3. In the pop-up window, enter the email and mobile number and click Submit.
Note:
Each email address can be bound to only one member account.
You can modify the security information only three times before it is activated, so enter the security information correctly.
4. After the binding information is successfully submitted, an activation link will be sent to the email address and will expire 15 days later. You need to click the activation link in time.

Sending the activation link again

You can go to the TCO console to send the activation link again within 15 days after the previous link was sent.
1. On the Member account management page, click Bind security information (activate) on the right of the target member account.
2. In the pop-up window, click Send again.

Binding security information again

If you don't click the activation link within the validity period, the link will expire. You need to submit the security information again. Note that the email address that failed to be activated cannot be bound again, and a new one is required.

2. In the pop-up window, click Bind again. The details are as shown below:

3. In the pop-up window, enter the email and mobile number and click Submit.

Subsequent operations

After the bound security information is activated, you can perform the following operations:
Use the member account to log in to the TCO console.
Remove the member account as needed. For details, see Removing Organization Member.
In Member account management, click Member name to view the login email address you have associated with the member.
