Last updated: 2026-03-23 18:58:22
DBbrain supports the Kill Session Report SES feature, allowing users to customize report recipients. When the SES is configured and a Kill Session occurs, users will receive the Kill session report via email.
Only MySQL, TDSQL-C for MySQL, MariaDB, TDSQL for MySQL, and Tencent Cloud Distributed Cache database types support this feature.

Usage Limits

The email notification function supports instance names up to 20 characters in length. If an instance name exceeds this limit, the system will reject the request.

Directions

1. Log in to the DBbrain console.
2. In the left sidebar, select Performance Optimization.
3. At the top of the page, select the database type, and then select the instance ID or the shard ID.
4. Select the Report Settings tab.
5. Enable the Kill Session Report switch, and click

on the right side of the receive cycle option.

6. In the pop-up dialog box, enable Send to Specified Email Address, select a contact or contact group, and click Confirm. The generated health report will be sent to the specified contact or contact group email.
Note:
Contacts and contact groups cannot be selected simultaneously. For contact and contact group management, see Contact Management.
You can send the report to up to 30 contacts at a time.
The report SES will be sent based on the selected email address. To avoid email block, add the email allowlist policy in advance: dbbrain@qcloudmail.com.

Email Content

After the report email is successfully sent, the user's inbox will receive an email containing details such as instance ID, instance name, type, occurrence time, quantity, and operations. Click View in the Operation column to log in to the real-time session page of the instance via email.
Note:
The health report is valid for 3 days. Download it before it expires.
