To ensure the healthy, stable and high-quality operation of your VPN service, Tencent Cloud VPN formally launches the VPN4.0 version.
Advantages
High Availability
The underlying layer adopts a hot standby architecture, enhancing cross-AZ capabilities and significantly improving the disaster recovery performance of services.
High Integration
It is used with different products to build end-to-end solutions for your cloud-based services.
DC + VPN: A DC (primary) + VPN (secondary) solution for cloud-based primary/secondary disaster recovery is provided to satisfy your low-latency, low-cost and primary/secondary disaster recovery demands. During normal operation, the traffic runs on the DC channel. In the event of a failure, the traffic switches to the VPN channel, and after the recovery from the failure, it switches back to the DC channel.
Elevated Security
SSL VPN supports SSO authentication, granular permission management, and SAML2.0-based mainstream third-party IdPs.
Effortless Management
One-click bulk creation and management of SSL clients are realized. Concurrently, fixed private network IPs ensure service stability. It is suitable for the Internet of Vehicles and the Internet of Things.

Is There an Additional Charge for Using the New Features of VPN4.0?
No. This change is for product capability enhancement.
What Are the Restrictions on Using the BGP?
Only VPN gateways of the CCN type with specifications of 200 Mbps, 500 Mbps, 1,000 Mbps and 3,000 Mbps support the dynamic BGP feature. For details, see the Use Limits.
