    Media Processing Fees

      CI provides a rich set of basic video processing services, such as video frame capturing, video-to-animated image conversion, file transcoding, video metadata acquisition, and audio/video splicing. In addition, by leveraging Tencent Cloud's advanced AI technologies, it can analyze video content to intelligently select the optimal key frame as the video thumbnail, which can effectively improve the video click rate and visual experience.

      Media processing fees refer to fees incurred by using video frame capturing, video metadata acquisition, video-to-animated image conversion, audio/video transcoding, and other media processing features as detailed below. For more information, see Media Processing Service.

      Note: Fees are charged based on the output specifications to which the long side and the short side of the resolution of the output video belong.
      The SD output specifications (1280 x 720) are used as an example. If the long side (width) of the resolution of the output video is not greater than 1280 and the short side (height) is not greater than 720, the video belongs to the SD output specifications.
      If the long side of the output video is greater than 1280 or the short side is greater than 720, the video belongs to output specifications with higher resolution.

      For videos for which the digital watermarking feature needs to be enabled, digital watermarks are added during transcoding. Therefore, digital watermarking and transcoding fees will be incurred. When an infringement of the video occurs, you can use CI to extract the watermark from the infringing video.
