1. INTRODUCTION
This Module applies if you use the Facial Recognition Feature (“Feature”). This Module is incorporated into the privacy policy located at Privacy Policy. Terms used but not defined in this Module shall have the meaning given to them in the Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between the Privacy Policy and this Module, this Module shall apply to the extent of the inconsistency.
2. CONTROLLERSHIP
The controller of the personal information described in this Module is as specified in the Privacy Policy.
3. AVAILABILITY
This Feature is available to users globally.
4. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will use the information in the following ways and in accordance with the following legal bases:

Error log (including upstream and downstream states, user input and output, whether request is successful or not, cloud API information including AppID, UIN, SubUIN, Region, API input parameters and return code, algorithm output information) | We use this information to ensure the Service functions as required and to analyze the reasons for errors or failures and troubleshoot such problems. | We process this information as it’s necessary for us to perform our contract with you to provide the Services. |
Running log (including user request IP, user account, request timestamp, request interface, whether billed or unbilled, PersonID, access time, recognition results) | We use this information for billing purposes. | We process this information as it’s necessary for us to perform our contract with you to provide the Services. |
Face features: set of binary strings generated by algorithm/model transcoding, with no actual content and irreversibility. This is generated from the face images of end users collected. | We use this information to ensure the Service functions as required. | We process this information as it’s necessary for us to perform our contract with you to provide the Services. |
5. HOW WE STORE AND SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION
As specified in the Privacy Policy.

As specified in the Privacy Policy, including Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd.
7. DATA RETENTION
We will retain personal information in accordance with the following:

Error log | Automatically deleted after storage space reaches 2GB (they are generally saved for several days) |
Running log | Stored for the lifetime of the Service or until you submit a data deletion request |
Face features | Stored for lifetime of the Service or until you submit a data deletion request |
