Overview
Welcome to Tencent Cloud Smart Advisor (TSA). This service is based on Tencent Cloud's Extensive Operations Expert Experience, helping customers build excellent architecture and achieve convenient, flexible all-in-one cloud governance.

Main Use Cases of the Service

  • Continuous architecture optimization: Perform outstanding index rating for users' cloud architecture, and provide operable governance improvement suggestions for users' system optimization.
  • Periodic inspection scan: By performing regular risk detection on users' cloud resources, it provides users with a global picture of the health status of Tencent Cloud resources, helping them understand the current status of cloud resource settings and usage.
  • Business continuity assessment: Check the usage of services that exceed 80% of their service limits. Inform customers promptly and submit a ticket for scaling out.
  • Cloud governance: Help customers detect and verify cloud resource issues through capacity monitoring, Chaotic Fault Generator experiments, and other methods, advance issue governance, and improve system availability.

This section introduces the TSA API interface, which is an API 3.0 interface. You can call the API to perform operations on TSA, such as risk detection and creating Chaotic Fault Generator experiments.

TSA's risk assessment items cover five categories: security, reliability, performance, cost, and service limitation. You can view the details of each assessment item in the Assessment Setting interface of the console. |

Getting Started with APIs

You can use the API Explorer tool to call APIs online.
This document uses query assessment item information as an example. The steps to make an API call via the API Explorer Tool are as follows:

  1. Go to the API Explorer tool page. For more information about API Explorer tool usage, see Using API Explorer.
  2. Call the DescribeStrategies API to query assessment item information.
  3. View specific assessment item details in the returned result.
