You can log in to the Tencent Cloud Smart Advisor (TSA) console and choose Folder in the left sidebar. On the Folder page, you can create business units to deeply align the folder hierarchy with the real organizational structure and create architecture diagrams within these business units. By accurately mapping to real business units, you can quickly locate architecture diagrams by business unit, achieving more efficient management.
Business Unit Management
Adding a Business Unit
On the Folder page, click Create Unit to create a business unit under the root folder. You can select Organization, Business System, or Application as the new root business unit based on the actual management model of your organization.
Similarly, you can also create sub-units under a business unit. To create a sub-unit, move the pointer over an existing business unit, click
to expand the operation menu, select Add Sub-unit, enter a name for the sub-unit, and click OK. The sub-unit is created.
Moving a Business Unit
1. Move the pointer over an existing business unit, click
to expand the operation menu and select Move.
2. Select the target business unit and click OK to complete the move operation. Note that when you move a business unit, all sub-business units under it and the architecture diagrams within each sub-business unit will also be moved.
Deleting a Business Unit
Move the pointer over an existing business unit, click
to expand the operation menu, and select Delete. Note that a business unit containing sub-business units or architecture diagrams cannot be deleted.
Architecture Diagram Management
Creating an Architecture Diagram
Select a business unit and click Create in the upper-right corner. In the pop-up panel, enter the required parameters for the architecture diagram and click OK. The parameters are described below:
Architecture Diagram Name: Required. This parameter can be modified after the architecture diagram is created.
Architecture Diagram Description: Optional. This parameter describes the business information, usage cases, responsible person, and remarks for the architecture diagram. It can be modified after the architecture diagram is created.
Tag: The architecture diagram is integrated with the Tencent Cloud tag management system, enabling fine-grained permission management and easier search for architecture diagrams.
Moving an Architecture Diagram
1. In the upper-right corner of the Architecture Diagram card, click
to expand the operation menu.
2. Click Move. Select the target business unit and click OK to complete the move operation.
Batch Operations
1. In the Architecture Diagram card, click Multi-select to go to the batch selection page. In this case, a checkbox appears in the upper-right corner of each architecture diagram card.
2. Select the architecture diagrams on which you want to perform operations, select Batch Operation in the upper-right corner to expand the operation menu, and perform the specific batch operation.
3. Select Cancel Multi-select to exit the batch operation mode.
Viewing/Modifying Architecture Diagram Information
Click the
icon in the upper-left corner of an architecture diagram card to view the details of the architecture diagram in a pop-up window. Click
to switch a field to the edit mode, in which the corresponding field can be modified.
Collaboration with Tencent Cloud
Click the
icon in the upper-left corner of an architecture diagram card to share the architecture diagram with Tencent Cloud experts for collaboration. In the architecture diagram information pop-up window, you can modify the permission level for collaboration. The
icon is displayed in the architecture diagram being collaborated on.
