Guide to becoming a Tencent Certified Service Partner (for regions outside the Chinese mainland)

Overview

A Certified Service Partner (CSP) is a company certified by Tencent Cloud for their expertise in Tencent Cloud’s private cloud products and ability to provide customers with design, architecture, deployment, migration, and O&M services.
Path: Official Website > Partner Network > International Partner Academy > CSP Zone.

Role and value of CSPs

To better focus on product development, Tencent Cloud welcomes partners to help deliver projects to customers and system integrators. CSPs serve mainly in scenarios where Tencent Cloud’s products are integrated into other systems.
The purpose of Tencent Cloud’s CSP system is to establish a comprehensive global network of channel partners providing services to customers, with Tencent Cloud providing additional support. By combining the sales and service expertise of partners with our own strengths in product R&D and technology, we can deliver higher quality services to customers at lower costs.

Differences between CSPs and ASPs

Authorized Service Partners (ASPs) act as Tencent’s subcontractors. Tencent engages with customers and then subcontracts part of the work to ASPs. ASPs are paid by Tencent.
CSPs engage directly with customers or system integrators. They deliver Tencent Cloud products and services to customers or system integrators and charge their own fees.
