How to set discounts for end customers?
After contacting channel managers to include resellers in the allowlist, resellers can set discounts for direct or indirect end customers on the Partner Center page in the console. End customers' credits will be deducted based on discounts set by resellers, and end customer bills will be issued at discounted prices.
Notes:
A discount for an end customer refers to the discount that takes effect on an end customer account. Credit deduction and billing are based on the discounted price (reseller selling price), and resellers bear the cost of the discount.
For a pickup discount that a reseller has applied for a specific end customer account (effective on the reseller account), it means that when the designated customer UIN consumes resources, the reseller pays to Tencent Cloud at this discount rate, also known as a special reseller discount. Tencent Cloud bears the cost of the discount.
How to delete discounts that are already set?
For discounts between resellers and Tencent, contact channel managers for deletion.
For resellers who are included in the allowlist of discounts for end customers, they can invalidate the discounts between resellers and end customers on the Partner Center page in the console.
How to view discount information? Why can't I see the discount page in the console?
Reseller discount: Please contact your channel manager to include you in the allowlist, and then log in to Tencent Cloud with your reseller account and choose Billing Center > Business Discount to view the discount information. See Business Discount for details.
End customer discount: Please contact your channel manager to include you in the allowlist, and then view the information on the Partner Center page in the console.
Can this discount apply to resource usage before the discount takes effect?
Reseller discount: Yes. You need to communicate with your channel manager for the configuration before the discount takes effect.
End customer discount: No. An end customer discount cannot apply to resource usage before the discount takes effect.
Do discounts take effect in real time?
For discounts between resellers and Tencent, sales managers set the effective time for the discounts that take effect as scheduled.
For discounts between resellers and end customers, resellers can configure them on the Partner Center page in the console (Resellers need to contact the channel manager to include them in the allowlist). The earliest effective date can be the day following the current date.
How to adjust discounts?
Reseller discount: Please contact channel managers to apply for the adjustment.
End customer discount: For resellers who are included in the allowlist of the discount feature, they can make the adjustment on the Partner Center page in the console.
Can discounts and vouchers be applied at the same time?
Yes. Vouchers can be redeemed based on the discounted prices. However, you need to pay attention to the redemption conditions of vouchers.
