This article introduces the environment used for TDSQL-C for MySQL performance testing.

Test Region

Chongqing.
Note:
The tested CVM and TDSQL-C for MySQL must be in the same region, same AZ, and same VPC network to ensure the validity of the performance test.

Parameter configuration
1. Create and use the default parameter template: select the cluster type as General, select the database version as TDSQL-C for MySQL 8.0.
2. After default creation, adjust the following parameters.
2.1 Set log_bin=off.
2.2 Set thread_handling=pool-of-threads.
2.3 innodb_log_sync_method=async.
Note:
The parameters log_bin and innodb_log_sync_method cannot be directly modified currently. If you need to modify them, submit a ticket to have them modified.
