TDSQL-C for MySQL supports backup deletion to conserve backup storage space. Manual logical backups can be deleted manually, while backup files generated from manual snapshot backups and automatic backups cannot be deleted manually. You can change the retention lifecycle of these backups by Setting Backup Retention Period. This document describes how to delete manual backups in the console.
Directions
2. Select the region at the top, find the target cluster, and click the cluster ID or Manage in the Operation column to enter the cluster management page.
3. On the cluster management page, choose the Backup Management tab, and then choose either Data Backup List or Binlog Backup List. In the backup list, find the backup file to be deleted, and click Delete in the Operation column.
4. In the pop-up window, click OK.
Note:
Note that backup files cannot be restored once deleted.
