The operations for analysis clusters are basically the same as those for TDSQL-C for MySQL clusters. You can directly perform independent operations on analysis clusters. This document introduces related operations for analysis clusters and how to use them.

Prerequisites

An analysis cluster has been prepared. See Creating an Analysis Cluster.
The cluster status is Running.

How to Use an Analysis Cluster?

Step 1: Creating an Analysis Cluster

Create an analysis cluster. See Creating an Analysis Cluster. If an analysis cluster exists, there is no need to create one.

Step 2: Adding a Data Source

Add a data source to the analysis cluster. See Adding a Data Source.

Step 3: Loading Data into the Analysis Cluster

Select data from the data source and load it into the analysis cluster. See Loading Data into the Analysis Cluster.

Step 4: Database/Table Mapping

After data is loaded into the analysis cluster, database/table mapping should be set. Otherwise, queries cannot be performed. See Database/Table Mapping.

Step 5: Accessing the Analysis Cluster

Access the analysis cluster for subsequent data analysis. See Accessing a Read-Only Analysis Engine.
Note:
Analysis clusters do not support database proxy currently.

Related Operation Guide

Viewing Analysis Cluster Information and Instance Details

1. Log in to the TDSQL-C for MySQL console and select TDSQL-C for MySQL (Analysis Cluster) at the top.
2. Click the target cluster in the cluster list on the left to access the cluster management page.
3. On the cluster management page, you can view the analysis cluster information, including basic information such as cluster name and database version.

4. Click Details under Computing Node to access the instance details page and query instance information.

Other Operations

The management and operation of analysis clusters are basically the same as those of general clusters in TDSQL-C for MySQL. You can view the corresponding documentation for operation references.
Operation
Reference Documentation
Modifying a cluster name
Modifying an instance name
Matching or modifying a security group
Modifying the network
Enabling or disabling the public network address
Modifying the maintenance cycle
Adjusting configurations
Deleting an analysis cluster
When an analysis cluster is no longer in use, you can delete it. For detailed operations, see Deleting a Cluster.
Restoring an analysis cluster
For yearly/monthly subscription analysis clusters, the cluster will be moved to the recycle bin and retained for 7 days after deletion. During this period, the cluster will be inaccessible. If you want to restore the cluster, you can renew it in the recycle bin. For detailed operations, see Restoring a Cluster.
For pay-as-you-go analysis clusters, the cluster will be moved to the recycle bin and retained for 3 days after deletion. During this period, the cluster will be inaccessible. If you want to restore the cluster, you can renew it in the recycle bin. For detailed operations, see Restoring a Cluster.
Note:
For information on specific operations for analysis clusters, such as creating an analysis cluster, adding a data source, or loading data, see other documents in this section (Analysis Cluster).
