After selecting the product specification of TencentDB for CTSDB 3.0, you also need to select a billing mode suitable for your business scenarios, budget the instance fees based on the unit price of billing items, and confirm the purchase of the new database instance.
Billing Mode
CTSDB 3.0 currently offers one billing mode: monthly subscription.
Note:
Currently, the exclusive instance type only supports monthly subscription.
Monthly Subscription
Prepaid mode. Pay in advance for one month or more of fees. It is applicable to long-term businesses with relatively stable volume. Billing Price List (Dedicated)
The billing items for the exclusive instance of CTSDB 3.0 include time series nodes and data nodes.
Time Series Nodes
The billing mode of time series nodes is calculated comprehensively based on memory capacity and unit price in the region, adopting the monthly billing mode. The fee is calculated by multiplying the total memory capacity corresponding to the instance specification by the unit price per GB per month in the located region. For example, when the unit price in a certain region is 9.28571429 USD/GB/month, the monthly fee of an 8 GB memory node is calculated as follows: 9.28571429 x 8 = 74.28571431 USD. The fee of nodes with different specifications varies linearly with memory capacity. Users can perform cost assessment by selecting memory specifications and regions that meet business requirements. The unit price per GB per month of a single node is as shown in the table below.
|
Beijing | 9.28571429 USD/GB/month | If the node specification is 2-core 8 GB, the monthly fee is calculated as follows: 9.28571429 x 8 = 74.28571431 USD. |

Data Nodes
The data nodes adopt the monthly billing mode. The fee is calculated by multiplying the number of instance nodes by the monthly price corresponding to the located region. For example, if the monthly fee of a single node in a certain region is 365.71428571 USD, when purchasing 9 data nodes, the total fee is calculated as follows: 9 × 365.71428571 = 3291.42857139 USD/month.
|
Beijing | 365.71428571 USD/node/month | If you purchase 9 data nodes, the monthly fee is calculated as follows: 9 x 365.71428571 = 3291.42857139 USD. |

Singapore | 438.85714286 USD/node/month | If you purchase 9 data nodes, the monthly fee is calculated as follows: 9 x 438.85714286 = 3949.71428574 USD. |

Calculation Formula
Dedicated instance fee = Time series node fee + Data node fee
Time series node fee = Number of time series nodes x Monthly fee of single time series node x Purchase duration
Data node fee = Number of data nodes x Monthly fee of single data node x Purchase duration
For example: If you purchase an dedicated instance in Guangzhou, with 3 time series nodes, 16-core 64 GB specification, and 9 data nodes, for a purchase duration of 3 months, the billing is as follows:
The time series node fee is calculated as follows: 3 x (64 x 9.28571429) x 3 = 5348.57143104 USD.
The data node fee is calculated as follows: 9 x 365.71428571 x 3 = 9874.28571417 USD.
The total instance fee is calculated as follows: 5348.57143104 + 9874.28571417 = 15222.85714521 USD.
