Refund Billing Examples
Note:
The following example prices are virtual. For the actual prices, see the official website.
Purchase 3 time series nodes with a node specification of 2-core 8 GB, and 9 data nodes in Guangzhou Zone 2. The fee is calculated as follows: 74.28571431 x 3 + 365.71428571 x 9 = 3,514.28571432 USD/month. Use a 100 USD promo voucher and purchase for 1 year.
The paid price is calculated as follows: 3,514.28571432 x 12 - 100 = 42,071.42857184 USD.
Common self-service return scenario
Example 1: Within 5 days of purchase and not the first return by the account, with the total usage duration not exceeding 24 hours.
The refund amount is equal to the original payment amount minus consumed fees, and the fee of one day will be deducted if less than one day.
The refund amount is calculated as follows: 42,071.42857184 - 3,514.28571432 / 30 x 1 = 41,954.285714696 USD.
Example 2: Within 5 days after purchase and not the first return by the account, with the usage duration of 48 hours and 1 year of renewal.
The refund amount is calculated as follows: 42,071.42857184 - 3,514.28571432 / 30 x 2 + 42,071.42857184 = 83,908.571429392 USD.
