Can I access CHDFS across regions?

No. Currently, you can only access CHDFS from the same region in a VPC.

Does CHDFS have any requirements for the Hadoop environment?

It can be used on Hadoop 2.x or above.

Does CHDFS support concurrently reading and writing the same file?

CHDFS supports concurrently reading the same file, but at any point in time, it supports writing the same file by only one client.
