To allow users to adjust the message retention time based on different business requirements, TDMQ for RocketMQ supports modifying the message retention time in the console. The following table describes the specific adjustment range and dimensions.

If you require a longer message retention time, submit a ticket to apply for support. Adjusting the Cluster-Level Message Retention Time
2. In the left sidebar, choose Resource > Cluster, select a region, and click Edit in the operation column of the target cluster.
3. In the pop-up window, modify the message retention time and click Submit to complete the adjustment.
