Adjusting the Message Retention Time

To allow users to adjust the message retention time based on different business requirements, TDMQ for RocketMQ supports modifying the message retention time in the console. The following table describes the specific adjustment range and dimensions.

Adjusting the Cluster-Level Message Retention Time
1. Log in to the TDMQ for RocketMQ console.
2. In the left sidebar, choose Resource > Cluster, select a region, and click Edit in the operation column of the target cluster.
3. In the pop-up window, modify the message retention time and click Submit to complete the adjustment.
Adjusting the Topic-Level Message Retention Time
1. Log in to the TDMQ for RocketMQ console.
2. In the left sidebar, choose Resource > Topic, select a region and cluster, and click Edit in the operation column of the target topic.
3. In the pop-up window, modify the message retention time and click Submit to complete the adjustment.
