Database Management Center (DMC) provides a comprehensive suite of features for visualized database development, enterprise-level collaborative secure release, and advanced data analysis and querying. It enables users to achieve centralized data management, enhance data security and compliance, and improve data analysis efficiency through optimized querying and analysis features.
The DMC console provides three main modules: basic development, secure release, and advanced development.

Basic Development

Basic Development is designed for individual users, aligning with the capabilities of Personal Edition in the previous version of DMC. It requires users to have database account and password information.
Basic Development provides a visualized SQL window, one-click login to database instances, and instance management through marker-based classification. It streamlines every stage of SQL operations, delivering a seamless experience that enables users to query and manage database data more efficiently while enhancing database management flexibility.

Secure Release

Secure Release is designed for enterprise users, aligning with the capabilities of Enterprise Edition in the previous version of DMC. Once an administrator registers a database instance and grants permissions to regular users, they can perform authorized operations on the database and submit tickets for data changes without requiring a database account and password.
Secure Release provides strict instance security controls, a customizable SQL window and approval rules, multi-level ticket approval processes (including SQL changes, permission requests, and data import/export), and operation history tracking. In an enterprise collaboration model, the platform supports fine-grained permission management and standardized workflows, further enhancing database security and regulatory compliance.

Advanced Development

Advanced Development offers productized capabilities tailored for specific scenarios.
Advanced Development provides high-level capabilities such as data source management, structure comparison at the database instance. These features enable unified database management and scenario-based data analysis and querying, significantly improving database management efficiency and analytical capabilities while driving deeper utilization of enterprise data.

Feature Description
Basic Development
Provides a graphical SQL editor with predefined SQL templates and support for user-defined SQL execution, enabling users to efficiently query and manage database data through an intuitive interface.
Enables users to add database instances, view the instance list, log in to the SQL window with one click, modify the username and password for database instance access, and view instance user permissions.
Provides predefined markers for database instances and supports the creation of custom markers for categorized management.
Secure Release
Provides predefined SQL window and approval rule templates and supports customizing, viewing, copying, and deleting rule templates.
Enables security control over instance changes, rule management, and workflow approvals by adding databases to data sources and activating management and secure release status.
Control Instances also supports one-click login, viewing instance details, modifying execution accounts, granting or revoking user operation permissions, changing instance rule templates, enabling or disabling the secure release status, and exporting the controlled instance list.
Supports database data changes by submitting SQL change tickets.
Supports importing data from local files or files stored in COS into specified databases and tables by submitting data import tickets.
Supports exporting data from specified databases and tables by submitting data export tickets.
Supports regular users in requesting permissions to perform SQL window, SQL change ticket, and import/export ticket operations on instances.
Supports viewing submitted tickets, pending tickets, completed tickets, and historical tickets.
Supports executing pending tickets, terminating ongoing ticket executions, and viewing tickets that have been terminated, failed, or successfully executed.
Supports viewing the login history of instances with secure release enabled and the execution history of SQL statements in the SQL window.
Advanced Development
Supports adding databases to data sources and enabling security control to facilitate advanced development, such as enterprise collaboration, secure release, and federated queries.
Data source management also supports modifying data source execution accounts, deleting data sources, and downloading the data source list.
Supports creating comparison tasks by selecting comparison instances, types, and objects. Enables database-level, table, or view comparisons across different database instances, including fields, indexes, comments, and order.
Structure comparison also supports viewing the comparison task list, checking task details, and starting, restarting, copying, terminating, deleting, and downloading comparison tasks.
