When users first use advanced capabilities in the Database Management Center (DMC), they should grant authorization to allow DMC to access the necessary cloud service resources. Once authorization is successful, users can leverage higher-level database management features such as instance control, process management, and more.
Prerequisites
The sub-account has the necessary access permissions for DMC-related feature pages. For details and operations, see DMC User Permission Settings. The root account has full permissions by default. Directions
2. In the left sidebar, select Secure Release > Instance Control or Secure Release > Creation Process or Secure Release > Process Management in the submenu.
3. Click Authorize Now on the page.
4. On the Cloud Access Management > Roles page, review the service authorization details, and then click Agree and Authorize.
Note:
The primary account and all sub-accounts only need to complete authorization once. Other sub-accounts under the same primary account do not need to repeat the authorization process.
