This document introduces how regular users can apply for instance permissions, including query, change, import, and export operations. Once the application is approved, users can perform the corresponding operations on the selected database instance within the validity period.
Prerequisites
The operating user should hold the DMC regular user role.
Directions
2. In the top menu bar, click Instance List.
3. In the Operation column corresponding to the target database instance, click Apply.
Note:
If the instance is not displayed in the instance list, click Apply on the page to request instance permissions. For detailed steps, see Applying for Instance Permissions. 4. In the pop-up dialog box, select the database, permissions, validity period, and application reason to apply for, and click OK.
5. At the top menu bar, click Ticket Management, locate the submitted ticket with the type permission application, and check the ticket status.
If the ticket status is Approved, wait for the approval to be completed. Once the ticket is approved, the execution will proceed automatically. When the status displays Execution Successful, it indicates that the permission request has been successfully granted.
If the ticket status is Rejected, click Viewing Details in the operation column to check the rejection reason.
