Adding Users

This document introduces how to add new users to DMC. New users are limited to sub-accounts or collaborators under the same Tencent Cloud root account. For example, if a new employee joins a corporate team, they should first apply for a sub-account or collaborator account and then follow this process to add the sub-account or collaborator to DMC.

Prerequisites

The operating user should have the DMC administrator role. The Tencent Cloud root account is assigned the DMC administrator role by default.
The user to be added should already be a sub-account or collaborator under the same Tencent Cloud root account. For detailed steps, see Creating and Authorizing Sub-account.

Directions

1. Log in to the DMC console.
2. In the top menu bar, select System Management > User Management.
3. At the top of the page, click Add User.
4. In the pop-up dialog box, enter or select the sub-account to be added, select the account role, and click OK.
5. For the differences between the administrator role and the regular user role, see Role Description.
