Operation and Maintenance Ticket

Overview

You can submit Ops tickets to request access to specific resources. Administrators review the request based on the nature of the requested resource, approve or reject the ticket, and configure access controls as well as restrictions on prohibited operations for approved Ops tickets.

Directions

Viewing an Ops Ticket

1. Log in to the BH console.
2. In the left sidebar, choose Ticket Mgmt > Operation and Maintenance Ticket.
3. On the Ops Ticket page, detailed records include the ticket ID/application description, ticket status, applicant, application time, approver, approval time, and ticket remarks.


Viewing Ops Ticket Details

1. On the Ops Ticket page, select the ticket you want to view and click Ticket ID.
2. In the ticket details, information such as the applicant, application time, application description, application assets, application accounts, host access controls, high-risk host commands, and database access controls is recorded in detail.

Note
If the ticket is not approved or has been rejected, host access controls, high-risk host commands, and database access controls will not be visible.

Approving an Ops Ticket

1. On the Ops Ticket page, select the ticket that requires approval and click Approve in the operation column.
2. In the approval dialog box, you can configure host access controls, high-risk host command controls, and database access controls for the ticket application.


Rejecting an Ops Ticket

1. On the Ops Ticket List page, select the ticket that requires rejection and click Rejected in the operation column.
2. In the rejection dialog box, enter the ticket remarks and click OK to reject the permission application for the ticket.
