Auto-Renewal Rules

Service content: Tencent Cloud Virtual Desktop (CVD).
Auto-renewal period: 1 month. Auto-renewal can be disabled at any time.
Charge amount: It is calculated based on the CVD instance specification and the sizes of the system and data disks you selected. The actual amount is subject to the value displayed in the console.
Deduction time and method: The system deducts fees on the expiration date of the product. If the deduction fails due to insufficient account balance, the service will be suspended upon expiration.

Enabling Auto-Renewal

You can enable auto-renewal by using the following three methods.

Enabling Auto-Renewal at Purchase

You can select the option to enable auto-renewal when purchasing instances on the CVD purchase page.


Enabling Auto-Renewal in the CVD Console

To enable auto-renewal in the CVD console, perform the following steps:
1. Log in to the CVD console. In the left sidebar, click CVD Instance List.

2. Click the name of the CVD instance for which you want to enable auto-renewal. On the instance details page, click the auto-renewal status.

3. In the Set Auto-Renewal pop-up window, confirm the CVD instance information. If correct, select the checkbox to agree to the Auto-Renewal Rules and select Enable for the auto-renewal setting.


Enabling Auto-Renewal in the Billing Center

To enable auto-renewal on the Renewal Management page of the Billing Center console, perform the following steps:
1. Go to the Renewal Management page. In the top navigation bar, click Manual Renewal.



2. Find the CVD instance for which you want to enable auto-renewal, and click Set to Auto-Renewal, as shown in the following figure:

3. In the Set Auto-Renewal pop-up window, confirm the product information. If correct click Confirm.


Disabling Auto-Renewal

You can disable auto-renewal by using the following two methods.

Disabling Auto-Renewal in the CVD Console

To disable auto-renewal in the CVD console, perform the following steps:
1. Log in to the CVD console. In the left sidebar, click CVD Instance List.

2. Click the name of the CVD instance for which you want to disable auto-renewal. On the instance details page, click the auto-renewal status.

3. In the Set Auto-Renewal pop-up window, confirm the product information. If correct, select the checkbox to agree to the Auto-Renewal Rules and select Disable for the auto-renewal setting.


Disabling Auto-Renewal in the Billing Center

To disable auto-renewal on the Renewal Management page of the Billing Center console, perform the following steps:
1. Go to the Renewal Management page. In the top navigation bar, click Auto-Renewal.

2. Find the CVD instance for which you want to disable auto-renewal, and click Set to Manual Renewal.


Managing Auto-Renewal

You can view the instance subscribed for auto-renewal by using the following two methods.

Viewing in the CVD Console

To view the instance subscribed for auto-renewal in the CVD console, perform the following steps:
1. Log in to the CVD console. In the left sidebar, click CVD Instance List.

2. Find the CVD instance whose auto-renewal status you want to check and view the related auto-renewal information on the instance details page.


Viewing in the Billing Center

To view the instance subscribed for auto-renewal on the Renewal Management page of the Billing Center console, perform the following steps:
1. Go to the Renewal Management page. In the top navigation bar, click Auto-Renewal.

2. Find the CVD instance whose auto-renewal status you want to check and view the related auto-renewal information on the Auto-Renewal page.
