Concept | Description |
Committed use | The standard billing mode of CDZ. You commit to using cloud products of the agreed capacity within the contract validity period (usually 3 to 5 years). Fees are settled on a fixed monthly basis based on the committed capacity. If the customer needs to terminate the contract in advance, they should pay the liquidated damages or economic compensation as agreed by both parties. |
Resource pack | A pre-purchased resource capacity pack. It is billed at a fixed amount agreed in the contract. After purchasing a resource pack, when you purchase specific cloud service instances (such as CVM instances), the corresponding public cloud instance bills will be automatically deducted. After deduction, the actual payment for the corresponding cloud service instance will be USD 0, avoiding duplicate payments. |
Customer's local IDC | The customer's own data center equipment room. CDZ can be delivered and deployed in the customer's local IDC, making full use of the customer's existing equipment room facilities and basic Ops capabilities. |
CDZ activation | It refers to the entire process of Tencent Cloud constructing and delivering CDZ at the customer-designated location, which mainly includes basic network construction and cloud product deployment. |
Resource usage level | The real-time purchase status of various resources (such as memory and disks) in CDZ can be displayed. For example, if the committed use of CVM instances is 860 cores and 80 cores have actually been purchased, the CPU utilization of the CVM instances is 10%. |
