Overview

CAM User Security Settings can help you complete the global security settings for CAM users, including login persistence time, MFA verification method, login protection, and operation protection.

Prerequisites

Added CAM User Security Settings baseline items. For operations on adding baseline items, see Adding Baselines.

Directions

1. In the Control Center > Baselines page, click the Configure of CAM User Security Settings.

2. On the Baseline Management / CAM User Security Settings page, you can configure the security policy for global users.

Idle login duration: Click the dropdown list to set the persistence time, or choose custom and enter the persistence time in the number text box.
Maximum login retention period: Click the dropdown list to set the maximum retention time, or choose custom and enter the maximum retention time in the number text box.
MFA Device: Check the corresponding option. Users can complete the verification through the corresponding option. By default, the use of a virtual MFA device and a U2F token for verification is required; if the user has bound multiple devices, they can switch the device type by themselves during MFA authentication.
Login protection: Click to set as mandatory verification for all users or set individually for each user.
Operation protection: By default, it is set individually for each user.
3. After completing, click OK to complete setting the CAM User Security Settings baseline items.
