Dear Tencent Cloud Enterprise Drive (TCED) user, please do not select folders with version management (referring to folders bound to other software with version management) when you use the feature of synchronizing data to the drive to avoid synchronization failures. (They may cause the created synchronization tasks to not execute normally, such as failing to back up data to the cloud/local.) The main causes are as follows:
1. Local version management permission settings (read permissions) may conflict with the operation of synchronizing data to the drive, causing synchronization failures.
2. Version management performed locally may create hidden folders. Binding the drive for data synchronization now can lead to local deletion failures.
If a folder cannot be deleted locally, you can delete it manually as follows:
1. Disable the synchronization feature of TCED on all terminals.
2. Delete the folder to be removed from the cloud.
3. Delete the corresponding folder locally.
Note:
Confirm the file content before deletion. Back up the file if necessary to avoid data loss caused by accidental deletion.
If you need to use version management, it is recommended that you use a professional version management hosting platform for management. Thank you for your understanding and support.
