Billing Overview

This document describes the billing mode and billing item information of GooseFS (Data Accelerator Goose FileSystem) to help you quickly understand its billing system.
Billing Mode
GooseFS currently only supports the pay-as-you-go (postpaid) billing mode. Details as follows:

Note:
Services can be accessed normally within 24 hours of account arrears. Resources will be destroyed after 8 days in arrears.
When pay-as-you-go resources are no longer in use, Log in to the Console, select the resource to terminate, and click delete for timely destruction to avoid further charges.
Billing Item
GooseFS currently has three billing items: management capacity fee, Master hosting service fee, and storage capacity fee. The specific billing items and prices are as follows:
The billing item for the Management Plane Hosting mode is the management capacity fee.
The billing items for the Master-Only Hosting mode include the management capacity fee and the Master hosting service fee.
The billing item for the Fully Managed Hosting mode is the storage capacity fee.
Note:
Manage capacity is actually used by users, and storage capacity is purchase by user in fully managed mode.
Managing Capacity Fee
The specific billing type and price for the management capacity fee are as shown below:

Billing Example
Managed Control Plane Mode
Customer Karl, who uses the autonomous driving scenario, needs to create a hybrid cloud-hosted cache cluster with 100TB capacity in the Beijing region. After using it for 2 months, the following total costs are incurred:
GooseFS management capacity fee: Using GooseFS managed control plane for 2 months generates a capacity fee of 0.0000294 USD/GB/hr * 24 hr * 30 days * 100 * 1024 GB * 2 = 4,335.21 USD.
The conversion cost per GB capacity per month is: $0.0212/GB/Month.
Master Hosting Mode
Customer Kevin, who uses the AIGC scenario, needs to create a Master Large model-hosted cache cluster with 100TB capacity in the Beijing region. After using it for 2 months, the following total costs are incurred:
GooseFS managed capacity fee: Using GooseFS managed control plane for 2 months generates a capacity fee of 0.0000294 USD/GB/hr *24 hr*30 days*100*1024 GB*2= 4,335.21 USD.
Managed Master instance service fee: Using a managed Master LARGE instance for 2 months generates a service fee of 6.62 USD/hr * 24 hrs * 30 days * 2 = 9,532.8 USD.
The total cost for GooseFS Master managed mode is: 4,335.21 + 9,532.8 = 13,868.01 USD.
The conversion cost per GB capacity is: 0.0677 USD/month/GB.
Fully Managed Mode
Customer Kate, who uses the big data scenario, needs to create a fully managed cache cluster with 100TB capacity in the Beijing region. After using it for 2 months, the following total costs are incurred:
GooseFS storage capacity fee: Using fully managed GooseFS for 2 months generates a storage capacity cost of 0.0002456 USD/GB/hr * 24 hr * 30 days * 100 * 1024 GB * 2 = 36,215.19 USD.
The conversion cost per GB capacity per month is: $0.1768/GB/Month.
Querying Bills
1. Log in to the Tencent Cloud console and enter the Billing Center.
2. In the left sidebar, select Cost Management > Consumption Bill, and enter the Resource ID management page.
3. In the top navigation bar, select the corresponding month based on actual statistics needs. Select resource bill, choose Data Lake Storage GooseStorage as the product name, and select Data Accelerator GooseFS as the subproduct.
4. To view detailed bill information, select Bill Details, choose Data Lake Storage GooseStorage as the product name, and select Data Accelerator GooseFS as the subproduct.
Overdue Payment Instructions
When the account balance is insufficient, the system will send an overdue notification via Message Center, SMS, and email. Please promptly top up your account through the Billing Center to avoid affecting your business.
Note:
The actual receiving method and recipient are subject to the user's Message Subscription configuration.
Arrears Status Handling Mechanism
The system will execute different treatments according to the overdue duration.
Your service can still be used normally within 24 hours of account arrears, and data can be read and write normally. You need to top up promptly during this period to keep your account balance at least 0, so as not to affect your business operation.
Account in arrears for 24 hours will result in forced stop of service. Data is retained but access is denied, and read-write operations will not be possible. During this period, fees will incur. You need to top up all arrears and manually restart the service.
If your account remains in arrears for 8 days, it will be deemed as active abandonment of this service. Tencent Cloud does not guarantee to retain your data, and service resources will be released. Your data will be terminated and cannot be recovered.

Note:
Storage resource usage fees will still be charged until resources are released during service interruption.
