Overview

You can delete a GooseFS cluster on the GooseFS list page through the GooseFS console. For the concept of GooseFS cluster, please refer to GooseFS Cluster Overview. The following is a detailed introduction on how to delete a GooseFS cluster.

Operation Steps

2. In the left navigation, click GooseFS Cluster List to enter the GooseFS cluster list page.
3. In the designated GooseFS cluster row, click the Delete button.
4. Enter the specified instance name in the pop-up window and confirm twice.
5. Click Confirm, and the cluster enters the delete process.
Note:
After cluster deletion, the cluster configuration and cached files in the cluster cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution when performing the delete operation.
Files cached in the GooseFS cluster, if stored in persistent storage such as COS, will not affect persistent storage. Ongoing file writes may fail due to cluster deletion.
The deletion operation of a GooseFS cluster will be recorded in the operation audit. If needed, log in to the audit console to check the corresponding operation records.
