Create Media Library

This article describes how to create a media library before formally using the SMH service. The specific steps are as follows.
Preparations
A Tencent Cloud account has been registered with identity verification completed.
To register a Tencent Cloud account, click Register Tencent Cloud Account.
To complete the identity verification, click Identity Verification.
Operation Steps
1. Log in to SMH console, click Media Library Management.
2. If you have not created a media library, click Use Now to go to the Media Library Management page.
3. Click Create Media Library.
4. In the pop-up dialog box, configure according to actual needs. Please note that once these switches are set, they cannot be modified.
The configuration instructions are as follows:
Media Library Name: names the media library you are creating.
Remarks: You can add text remarks to the current media library.
Multi-tenant Mode: Enabling multi-tenant mode allows you to dynamically create isolated storage spaces for your products and services, such as independent sections or articles, or for each end user of the product.
Media Library Type: divided into file type and media type. Once selected and created, it cannot be changed.
File Type: Users can upload files in any format.
Media Type: Users can only upload images and videos. If you select Media Type, you can choose Multi-Album Mode. After Multi-Album Mode is enabled, media resources such as photos and videos can only be uploaded to albums and are not allowed to be uploaded directly to Tenant Space, and albums do not support multiple levels, meaning that sub-albums cannot be created within albums.
5. After completing the above configurations, click OK to complete the creation.
6. After that, you can click the Configure button to manage and configure related features of the media library.
