Using Tencent Service Framework (TSF) - registration configuration governance involves the following basic concepts:
Concept
Description
Polaris Instance
Refers to the Register Configuration Center or Polaris (Polaris), comprising both server-side and client-side components.
Register Configuration Center
A component may be used as a configuration center, a registry, or both.
Polaris (Polaris)
Not only includes the Register Configuration Center, but also contains service governance features commonly used in distributed or microservices architectures.
Namespace
Namespaces are commonly used to isolate and distinguish resources among multiple teams or projects, for example, to distinguish environments: development, testing, staging, and production, or to distinguish business domains.
Service
After an application registers with the registry, it becomes a service, and business logic performs service discovery using the service name.
Service Instance
A service instance is a specific business node registered under a service. Typically, a business registers multiple nodes under a service.
Allowlist
Set the public network access IP address. You can configure the public IP address range for accessing this instance via an allowlist.
