Note:
Prepaid yearly/monthly subscription: By default, one unconditional full refund is available within five days; other refund requests will be processed as partial refunds.
Pay-as-you-go postpaid: Resources will be decommissioned directly with no refund available. If frozen fees exist, they will be released and returned to your Tencent Cloud account according to the Freezing Rules. If you encounter issues during the refund process, you can submit a ticket for assistance. 5-Day Unconditional Full Refund
TDMQ for MQTT clusters under the monthly subscription mode comply with Tencent Cloud's Instruction on Refunds for Cloud Services. If you are not satisfied after purchasing a cluster, we support a 5-day no-reason self-service refund. The specific rules are as follows: For each entity, within 5 days (inclusive) after the date of newly purchased cluster, you can enjoy unconditional refund for 1 cluster. The refund amount is the full amount spent at purchase, including cash account amount, earnings transferred to the account and gift account balance.
Rebates or vouchers not refunded. The return amount will be refunded in full to your Tencent Cloud Account Balance.
If you need to return a cluster purchased as part of a promotion and the refund rule conflicts with the promotion rules, the promotion rules shall prevail.
In case of suspected abnormal or malicious returns, Tencent Cloud reserves the right to reject your return request.
Partial Refund
Prepaid cloud products failing to satisfy the unconditional full refund within five days policy, refund and return product as follows:
If you have already taken advantage of the 5-day no-questions-asked refund, other clusters can use self-service return. The regular self-service refund will be returned based on the proportion of cash and free credits used for the purchase to Your Tencent Cloud account.
Refund amount = Paid amount - (Usage duration / Total duration) × Original order price × Applicable discount
Usage duration less than 1 day is calculated as 1 day. Current Discount is matched based on usage duration and current system discount.
The unit price and discount are subject to the current system promotional offer.
For products purchased as part of an event, if the refund rules conflict with the event rules, the event rules shall prevail. If the event rules state that refunds are not supported, you are not able to apply for a refund.
Self-service refund is not supported for promotional reward channel orders. Please submit a ticket to initiate a refund application. In case of suspected abnormal or malicious returns, Tencent Cloud reserves the right to reject the return request.
Downgrade Refund
Cluster downgrade follows the principle refund first, then purchase, where downgrade refund amount = resource refund - fee for purchasing new resources.
Promo vouchers/discount coupons used for product purchases cannot be returned. Non-voucher payments will be refunded to the payer's Tencent Cloud account based on the payment method (cash/free credit/cash voucher) and proportion.
Note:
The fee for purchasing cash vouchers is non-refundable. For orders paid with cash vouchers, the equivalent voucher amount will be refunded proportionally to the payer's Tencent Cloud account based on the original payment.
Resource refund: The refund amount is calculated according to the partial refund rules.
Fee for purchasing new resources: The purchase amount is calculated based on the price of new resources and the discount (matching the current system discount).
Refund Method
You can operate the cluster termination/return in the corresponding MQTT console via self-service. The system will automatically initiate a refund and terminate/return related resources. For specific operations, refer to Terminate/Return Cluster.
