Scenarios

You can delete a TDMQ for MQTT cluster if you no longer need it to avoid resource waste.

Operation Steps

Manual Deletion

1. Log in to the TDMQ MQTT console.
2. Select Resource > Cluster in the left sidebar. On the cluster management list page, click More > Terminate/Return in the Action column.
3. In the confirmation dialog for deletion, after secondary confirmation to Terminate, you can delete the cluster.
Note:
When there are resources such as Topics in the current cluster, termination is not supported. The cluster can only be terminated after all resources under it have been cleared.
After a cluster is deleted, all configurations under it will be cleared and cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution and back up data in advance.

Deleting a Gateway Instance Automatically Upon Expiration or in Arrears

For Annual/Monthly Subscription Type instances, upon expiration or in arrears, they can be retained in the TDMQ for MQTT console for up to 7 calendar days. If renewal is completed within 7 days after expiration, the instance can continue to use. For details, see Overdue Instructions.
If your TDMQ for MQTT edition cluster is not renewed within 7 days (including the 7th day) after expiration, the system will start releasing resources at 00:00 on the 8th day. Data in the expired instance will be erased and unrecoverable.
Note:
Clusters in an isolated state cannot produce and consume. Data and configurations stored in the cluster will not be deleted.
For clusters in an isolated state within 7 days, you can click Renew in the Action column on the cluster list page in the console. After successful renewal, the cluster will resume the Running state and becomes available for normal use.
