Overdue Payments

When the available balance (including cash balance, vouchers, and so on) in your Tencent Cloud account becomes 0 or negative, it immediately enters an overdue payment state. The impact of overdue payments varies across different billing modes.

Overdue Payment Alarms

After specifying message recipients and delivery methods via the Message Subscription Management feature, you will receive the following alert messages.

Overdue Reminder
The system will deduct fees for pay-as-you-go resources on the hour. When your account balance becomes negative, we will notify the creator of the Tencent Cloud account, as well as global resource collaborators and financial collaborators, via in-site messages, SMS, and email.
Overdue Alert
This feature is disabled by default. To use it, refer to the Balance Notifications for subscription.

Arrears Conditions
Account balance is 0 or negative.
Impact Scope
All postpaid inference services.
Impact of Arrears
Inference service immediately paused, API requests return an arrears error code.
Recovery Method
After the account is topped up to make the balance positive, the service automatically resumes.
Data Retention
Online inference services will be retained within 15 days (grace period) after service suspension, and will be deleted after this period.

Overdue Notifications

To help you stay informed about your account status, the platform will send notifications at the following times:

Notification is sent 4 hours before the end of the grace period.
Resource Release Notification

Notifications will be sent when the data retention period ends and resources are about to be released. You will no longer be able to access the service.
Note:
We recommend that you set a reasonable balance alert threshold on the Tencent Cloud console Billing Center > Billing Alerts page to receive notifications in advance and avoid service interruption.
