Starting from March 10, 2021, Tencent Cloud CVM implemented partial price reductions. Spot Instances offer a new operating model for CVM, designed for interruption-tolerant workloads with maximum cost savings of up to 90%.
Shut down pay-as-you-go instances to avoid charges.
The no-charge feature for pay-as-you-go instances was fully launched on November 26. It is suitable for non-real-time workloads and helps maximize cost savings.
When an eligible pay-as-you-go instance is stopped, CPU and memory charges are suspended while the instance remains in the stopped state. Charges for CBS (system and data disks), public bandwidth, and images remain unchanged.

The Beijing (North China) Data Center meets T4-grade data center standards and provides a full range of cloud products, delivering one-stop solutions for various computing needs. Once operational, it will cover the broad North China market, providing high-quality cloud services for enterprises and individuals in the region.
The public network uses high-speed BGP, covering more than 20 domestic ISPs. The product line is extensive, including SSD Cloud Disks, High I/O Instances, Load Balancers, Private Networks, CDN, Cloud Databases, Cloud Storage Regis, Cloud Security, Tencent Cloud Observability Platform, and other cloud services to meet different scenarios.

Snapshot feature launched
Snapshots are a data backup solution provided by Tencent Cloud. They create a fully usable copy of a specified cloud disk, independent of the disk’s lifecycle. You can use snapshots to create real-time copies of online data, persistently back up key milestones, or quickly create new disks using the snapshot.

SSH key feature launched
SSH, short for Secure Shell, is a protocol that provides security for remote login sessions and other network services. Using the SSH protocol effectively prevents information leakage during remote management. Tencent Cloud allows the use of public key cryptography to encrypt and decrypt login information for Linux instances.
