This article will introduce the configuration information related to the business system.

Directions

1. Log in to TCOP.
2. Select Application Performance > System Configuration in the left sidebar to enter the Business system configuration page.
3. Select the region and target business system at the top of the page.
4. Modify the business system configuration for the following groups and categories.
Basic info: This group supports the configuration of basic information for the business system, including the following configuration items:
Configuration Item
Description
Business system name
Customize business system name.
Enable Free Mode
Once Free Mode is enabled, the business system will be permanently free. For limitations on Free Mode, please refer to Usage Limitations of Free Mode.
Billing mode
Supports Pay-as-you-go and Prepaid.
Trace retention period
Supports selection of 1-day, 3-day, 7-day, 15-day, and 30-day data link storage durations. The default storage duration during the trial period is 1 day. The longer the storage duration, the higher the charging. Links exceeding the storage duration will not be displayed in the APM console.
In prepaid mode, the link storage duration is fixed at 3 days.
Business system overview
Describe the purpose of the business system.
Add tag
APM can be used with Tencent Cloud's resource tag feature to perform tag-based sub-account authorization and cost allocation. For more information about tag setting, see CAM.
Custom configuration:
Supports custom display column configuration. After adding a custom display column, an additional column will be used in list views such as link tracing to display the corresponding Span attributes.
Application health threshold:
Supports response time alert threshold and error rate warning threshold configuration. In views such as the application list, APM will judge the application health status based on the application health threshold.
Application Security:
Supports component vulnerability scanning and SQL injection analysis application security feature toggles. Enabling or disabling application security features in a business system will affect all applications within that system. Additionally, APM offers application-level toggles for application security features to override configurations within the business system.
Log association:
Supports Log region, Logset, and Log topic configuration items for associating requests with the Cloud Log Service (CLS). Additionally, APM provides application-level log correlation configuration items to override configurations within the business system. For more information on link log correlation analysis, please refer to Query Associated Logs in Link Detail.
Dashboard Association:
Used to associate and display the Cloud Monitor Dashboard in the application details. Additionally, APM provides application-level Dashboard association configuration items to override configurations within the business system. For more information on Dashboard association, please refer to Prometheus Data Integration and Dashboard Association Display.
Interface convergence:
Supports configuration of API convergence related rules. For details, see About Automatic API Name Convergence.
Data delivery:
After it is enabled, newly generated trace data will be delivered to the cloud-based CKafka instance.
Note:
To use this feature, users need to purchase a Tencent Cloud CKafka instance in advance, and refer to Kafka Account Permission Management to grant access permissions to CKafka-related APIs. They can directly use the QcloudCkafkaReadOnlyAccess permission policy.
During initial configuration, you need to follow the console instructions to authorize APM to access CKafka. The system will create a service role named APM_QCSLinkedRolelnCKalkalnstance and associate it with the corresponding preset policy.
The Data Delivery feature relies on supporting routes with the access method set to PLAINTEXT. If the user has not created a qualifying supporting route, the system will automatically create one. If there are insufficient available route quotas, creation will fail.
Topics with ACL enabled are not supported, and elastic Topics are not supported.
The data format complies with the OpenTelemetry standard. Users can use the official trace.proto to generate language-specific code for parsing.
