This document describes the service status of Terminal Performance Monitoring Pro (RUM Pro) when your account has an overdue payment.
Overdue Payments for Resource Packages
Overdue Notifications
1. For products bound to the Event Volume Package, after daily settlement, if the resource package balance of an application is less than its usage over the past 7 days, or if the resource package is about to expire (in less than 7 days), you will be notified via SMS and email. Upon receiving the notification, you can go to Resource Management > Resource Package > My Resource Packages, and click Purchase Resource Package to add resource packages. 2. For products bound to the Monthly Active Package, after daily calculation and analysis of the recent trend of monthly active users, if the resource package balance of an application is less than its usage over the past 7 days, or if the resource package is about to expire (in less than 7 days), you will be notified via SMS and email. Upon receiving the notification, you can go to Resource Management > Resource Package > My Resource Packages, and click Purchase Resource Package to add resource packages. Service Suspension Mechanism
If a prepaid resource package is used up or has expired, and the platform is unable to offset the usage during settlement, the application will be marked as overdue. Once the application is marked as overdue, the platform will immediately disable all subsequent reporting for the application until you add a resource package and settle the outstanding fees.
Overdue Payment and Recovery Examples
Overdue Payment Triggering
For example, on March 1, 2023, during platform settlement, it was found that over the past 7 days, the application consumed 1 million reporting events, while the current resource package only had 900,000 reporting events remaining. The platform would notify you to top up in time. If you failed to do so, by the settlement on March 7, 2023, the resource package had only 10,000 reporting events left. However, the actual consumption on March 6, 2023 was 100,000 events. After all resources were applied, 90,000 outstanding events remained, causing the application to be marked as overdue. The platform would disable all reporting for the application. Starting from March 7, 2023, the application would be unable to report new data until a resource package is added and the outstanding fees are settled.
Service Recovery
On March 8, 2023, you purchased a new resource package. After the platform settled the overdue payments, reporting for the application would be enabled. Full recovery of reporting features will take some time. Due to the overdue payments, data reporting was interrupted for two days. You need to monitor resource consumption and purchase resource packages in time upon receiving notifications to avoid affecting application data analysis.
Based on the duration of the overdue payment, the monitoring service usually recovers within the following time after renewal:
If the overdue payment lasts for up to 2 days, the monitoring service will gradually recover within 1 hour after renewal.
If the overdue payment lasts for up to 7 days, the monitoring service will gradually recover within 2 hours after renewal.
If the overdue payment lasts for up to 60 days, the monitoring service will gradually recover within 4 hours after renewal.
If the overdue payment lasts for up to 180 days, the monitoring service will gradually recover within 6 hours after renewal.
If the overdue payment lasts for over 180 days, the monitoring service will gradually recover within 8 hours after renewal.
Note:
For applications marked as overdue, you can still view the historical data within the validity period, but all monitoring features are disabled.
