To view your VOD bills and payment details, go to Tencent Cloud Billing Center > Bills > View bills.

Bill Query

The Bill Details page includes the Bill Overview, Bill Summary, Bill by lnstance and Bill Details:
Bill Overview: A multi-dimensional overview of bill amounts, showing spending proportions by dimension.
Bill Summary: The total bill amount categorized by product, project, billing mode, region, and tag.
Bill by lnstance: The total bill amount summarized by resource ID.
Bill Details: Displays one record per bill without performing aggregation.

Click All products and then select Product Name > Video on Demand to view the VOD bills.

VOD's different sub-products have different resource contents due to different resource forms. For details, see Instance ID Description.
Billing Mode
Pay-As-You-Go: In this mode, billing is settled daily based on actual usage.
Monthly Subscription: In this mode, billing is settled monthly for all usage within the billing cycle.
Annual and Monthly Subscription: VOD resource package plan.
Configuration Description
VOD sub-features and their usage in this month. VOD sub-features include:
VOD storage
VOD MPS duration
VOD transcoding
VOD traffic
VOD bandwidth
VOD inappropriate content recognition
Original Cost
Total cost of each sub-feature used on a daily/monthly basis.
Discount Rate
The user’s discount rate this month:
Users on the daily billing cycle do not receive discounts. Their discount rate is 0.
Users on the monthly billing cycle should contact sales to inquire about discounts.
Total Cost
Total cost = Original cost × (1 - Discount rate)
Other fields are assigned by Tencent Cloud. For details, see Bills.
Note:
If the component type is VOD transcoding, the transcoding template type is indicated in the instance ID. For example:
XXX_h265_sd_640_480 indicates a general transcoding template with codec set to H.265 and resolution set to SD (640 × 480) and below.
XXX_h265_eshd_sd_640_480 indicates a TSC transcoding template with codec set to H.265 and resolution set to SD (640 × 480) and below.

Component’s original cost = Component’s published unit price x Component’s price unit x Component’s usage x Usage duration

Note:
If the component type is VOD transcoding, the transcoding template type is indicated in the instance ID. For example:
XXX_h265_sd_640_480 indicates a general transcoding template with codec set to H.265 and resolution set to SD (640 × 480) and below.
XXX_h265_eshd_sd_640_480 indicates a TSC transcoding template with codec set to H.265 and resolution set to SD (640 × 480) and below.
For example, suppose a user uses the template with codec set to H.264 and resolution set to HD (1280 × 720) and below, and the component’s published unit price is 0.0061 USD/min.
Component’s original cost = 0.00610000 × USD/Transcoding type 2/min × 2.00000000 min × 5.00000000 min = 0.03050000 (USD)
Discount rate = 0
Total cost = 0.0305 USD × 1 = 0.0305 (USD)

Note:
The example indicates that a user with a monthly settlement account of 132××× used the "VOD Standard Storage - Chinese mainland" resource, and incurred usage and costs.

Bill Region Description

At the end of the resource ID, fields such as ml, oml, etc., often appear. These mainly refer to the regional attributes of instance consumption. The mapping of fields for global regions is as follows:

Bill download

Note:
Detail download is only supported for bills from December 2018 onwards. For the download of historical bills from November 2018 and earlier, please visit Resource Billing 1.0.
The bill self-confirmation feature is now online. From October 2019, users can self-confirm bills. After confirming the bill, you can request a PDF invoice with an electronic seal.

1. Access the Billing Center console by clicking the Billing button in the upper right corner.

2. In the Cost Center console, navigate to Bills > Bill Export Center, where you can selectively download L0, L1, L2, or L3 bills as needed.
L0 - PDF Bill Summary: Provides PDF electronic bills for financial reimbursement purposes, including cost overview and payment collection information.
L1 - Aggregated by Project and Product: Supports aggregation by product, by project, or by both product and project.
L2 - Resource ID-based Bill: Supports aggregation by resource ID.
L3 - Detailed Bill Records: Each transaction is listed as an individual record.

3. Click on Export bill package, select the billing period, and initiate the export process. Please note that generating the bill may require some time. Once completed, you may retrieve the results from the Download Records page under Billing Center.

4. Click Download.


Usage Detail Download

Currently, only some pay-as-you-go (monthly settlement) products are supported. To enable monthly settlement, please contact your account manager. You can navigate to the "Usage Details Export" page under the "Billing Center" console - "Bills" section. Select "VOD (Video on Demand)" in the product name field to obtain the usage details for VOD services.
Supported monthly settlement user detail download sub-product categories are as follows:
VOD Pay-per-use Bandwidth
VOD Pay-per-use Traffic
VOD Pay-per-use Storage
VOD MPS duration
VOD Image Auditing
The user can download usage details in the Product Report by selecting the respective category. If the category is not present, it indicates that there is no such consumption for the account.


VOD Pay-per-use Bandwidth

VOD Pay-per-use Bandwidth is divided into two tables: sheet1: Daily data of VOD Pay-per-use Bandwidth (consistent with the number of days in the month). sheet2: Detailed data of VOD Pay-per-use Bandwidth every five minutes daily.
Billing method: The current billing method for user's bandwidth.
Valid days: Valid natural days in monthly settlement.
Billing bandwidth value: The bandwidth value used for billing.
Note:
The general valid natural days for monthly settlement is one month. If the user switches from daily to monthly billing in the middle of the month or starts using Tencent Cloud, the usage details for that month will be recorded from the day of the switch. The next month's records will cover the entire month.

VOD Pay-per-use Traffic

Billing method: Bill-by-traffic.
Valid days: Valid natural days in monthly settlement.
Billing traffic value: Traffic billing value for billing purposes. Records the traffic consumption for every five minutes of each natural day. The total billing traffic is the sum of traffic values at all recorded time points.

VOD Pay-per-use Storage

Date: Valid natural days in monthly settlement.
Usage: The peak storage space used for VOD on that day.
Note:
Monthly storage fee = Daily peak value × Unit price (The console shows the peak storage space of the day).

VOD MPS duration

Date: Natural day.
Resource ID: The identifier of the MPS resources used.
MPS duration: The duration after proportional deduction of various MPS capabilities used on that day.

VOD Image Auditing

Date: Natural day.
Usage: The number of Image Auditing instances used on that day.
