1. Media Quality Inspection
To allow users to quickly locate audio and video quality problems, carry out targeted audio and video quality repair and enhancement, and improve the efficiency of audio and video quality repair, the Tencent Cloud Video on Demand team officially launched the Media Quality Inspection feature. This feature is based on advanced AI algorithms to detect picture frames and sound quality in audio and video, covering various detection types such as video image shake ghosting, blur, low-light overexposure, blurred screen, audio anomalies, etc., and provides the media quality inspection score. The Video on Demand service will add the Media Quality Inspection billing item starting from 00:00:00 on June 30, 2023, Beijing time, and the duration of the Media Quality Inspection tasks created by users will be officially billed.

2. Play Channel
To allow users to watch VOD videos in the form of live broadcast, Tencent Cloud VOD team officially launched the Play Channel feature. The Play Channel supports one or more VOD videos. After the specified start time of the channel, users can watch the videos in the channel in the form of live broadcast. During playback, fast forwarding and pausing are unabled. When there are multiple videos in the channel, they will be played in sequence without waiting for buffering, providing a seamless viewing experience similar to live TV. The Video on Demand service will add the Play Channel billing item starting from 00:00:00 on June 9, 2023, Beijing time, and the running time of the Play Channel created by the user will be officially billed.
