Overview
Storage bucket is a storage container under the VOD Professional application, serving as a carrier for files, with no capacity limit.
Bucket naming rules
The following naming rules apply for Professional application buckets.
Bucket names can consist only of lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens (-).
Bucket names must begin and end with a letter or number.
Bucket names must not exceed 40 characters in length.
Bucket Region
Region is where the VOD IDC is located. VOD allows users to create buckets in different regions. You can select the region closest to the location where you deploy your business for the buckets so as to reduce latency and cost, and meet the compliance requirements.
Note:
The Professional application currently supports creating only one storage bucket per region, and the bucket's region selection cannot be changed once set.
Internal Network Access Domain
The Professional application provides an internal network access domain for each bucket. You can access files in the bucket using the internal network access domain. If accessing within the same region, internal network access can be achieved, resulting in internal network traffic for uploads and downloads without incurring any traffic costs.
