What Is Login Protection?
Login protection is an additional layer of protection that Tencent Cloud provides for logins. An additional identity verification credential is required after the correct username and password are entered.
How Do I Enable/Disable Login Protection for My Account?
You can log in to the console and go to Account Center > Security Settings > Login Protection to enable or disable login protection for your account. For details, see Login Protection.
How Do I Change the Default Login Protection Verification Method?
You can log in to the console and go to Account Center > Security Settings > Login Protection to change the default login protection verification method.
What Should I Do If the Bound Security Verification Device Is Unavailable When Login Protection Is Enabled?
If you have bound other security devices, click Use an alternative verification method next to Authentication to switch to other bound security devices for verification.
If you have not bound any other security devices, click Contact Us or Submit a Ticket in the Use an alternative verification method pop-up window for support.
