Global SMS services adopt a prepaid package model. Purchasing a package is required prior to utilizing Global SMS services. For postpaid daily billing mode activation, please consult your Tencent Cloud account manager.
Package Balance Alerts
The system will send an alert notification when your available package balance falls below your specified threshold. Alerts will be sent via email, SMS, and Station Mail to the Tencent Cloud account creator.
Default Alert Thresholds: If no custom threshold is set, the platform will automatically trigger alerts when the total package balance is below 15%, 5%, or 1%.
Custom Alert Thresholds: You can configure personalized alert thresholds based on your business needs on the SMS Console page: Package Management > Global SMS. To ensure uninterrupted service, we recommend either enabling auto-renewal, or purchasing new packages manually before balance depletion.
Tencent Cloud Account Arrears
If you receive an SMS notification about insufficient account balance and fail to recharge within 12 hours, your Global SMS service will be suspended— regardless of any remaining balance in your prepaid package. Please recharge promptly. Service will resume once your Tencent Cloud account balance is settled. Any impact caused by service suspension due to arrears will be borne by your business. Even if your Tencent Cloud account has funds, global SMS services cannot be used if you have not purchased a package, or your package balance is $0. Please purchase an global SMS package promptly.
