Notice on Decommissioning the Serverless Instance Creation API for TencentDB for PostgreSQL

TencentDB for PostgreSQL will decommission the Serverless instance creation API as of December 9, 2024. Historical instances will only obtain product technical support service.
Reason
PostgreSQL for Serverless is currently in free beta testing. The major version of backend instances is PostgreSQL 10, which is no longer supported by the community. Continuing to use it will pose risks. Therefore, TencentDB for PostgreSQL will decommission the Serverless instance creation API.
Impact
Customers will not be able to create Serverless instances directly through the TencentCloud API CreateServerlessDBInstance. Historical instances will only obtain product technical support service.
Suggestions
It is recommended to use the TencentDB for PostgreSQL console or the TencentCloud API CreateInstances to create dual-server high-availability edition instances. The dual-server high-availability edition provides enterprise-level service capabilities. Currently, it supports up to PostgreSQL 16.
