Overview
After you add the inventory feature of Cloud Object Storage (COS), you can enable the inventory analysis feature to perform further data analysis on the generated inventory file. The inventory analysis feature will integrate the inventory data within a specified time period for statistical analysis and extract key indicators for you to view.

Note:
The inventory analysis feature does not support instant inventory. Please use scheduled inventory.

2. In the left sidebar, click Bucket List to enter the bucket list management page.
3. Find the bucket that needs inventory analysis. Click the Bucket Name to go to the bucket management page.
4. In the left sidebar, select Basic Configurations > Inventory.
Note:
Before using the analysis feature of the inventory, ensure that the inventory has been added and the inventory file has been generated.
5. In the inventory analysis configuration item, if you haven't added a COS inventory analysis function, click Use Now below. At this point, the system will detect whether you have added COS inventory analysis function rules. See add COS inventory analysis function to add the function. If you have added a COS inventory analysis function, select the corresponding function name in the Inventory Analysis area, select the time period of the inventory you want to analyze, click New Analysis Task, and configure the following information in the pop-up window:
Note:
The total number of objects in the bucket for inventory analysis must not exceed 100 million.
Inventory Name: Select the inventory to be analyzed.
Inventory timestamp: The value of the timestamp in the object key of the inventory file.
Product Destination Directory: The result file and manifest file of this analysis are both sent to this directory.
Job Description: Customize the description for this analysis.
Filter Condition: Support filtering based on object key, object size, latest modification time, and whether it is the latest version.
Object Key: Enter the object key template. Wildcards are supported *, for example:test/* represents objects with the test/ prefix.
Latest modified: Supports yesterday, the last 3 days, or a custom time range.
Object Size: Ranges from the size of specified objects.
Latest Version: Support selection of whether it is the latest version.
Job Type: Option to export statistics or export object list.
Statistics dimension: Optional directory prefix, object suffix, storage type.
Statistics content: Optional size of object, number of objects.
Statistics entry limit: Please enter the upper limit of statistics entries, which is the maximum number of rows of statistical results in the result file. It must not exceed 10,000 rows.
6. After confirming that the configuration is correct, click OK, and you will see that the analysis task has been added successfully.
You can perform the following operations on the created analysis task:
Click View result to view the results of this inventory analysis and the save location of the result files.
Note:
You can query inventory analysis tasks created in the last 3 days.
You can view the result only after an inventory analysis task is completed. An inventory analysis usually takes several to dozens of minutes depending on the inventory size.
Click Running Log to navigate to the SCF console and view the running log of the COS inventory analysis.
