Manually Delete Consumer Group

When a consumer group remains in idle state (no active members) for a long-term period, exceeding the auto cleanup duration for idle consumer groups (configuration method: see Configure Auto Cleanup Duration for Idle Consumer Groups), the consumer group will be automatically deleted. During this period, you can manually delete the consumer group in the console.
Restrictions and Limitations
A consumer group can only be deleted when the Broker Version of the instance is 1.1.1 and above versions, and the status of the consumer group is Empty/Dead.
After the deletion of a consumer group, its consumption progress will be deleted together, which may lead to reconsume or duplicate consumption.
Operation Steps
1. Log in to the CKafka console.
2. Select instance list in the left sidebar, then click the ID of the target instance after selecting a region to go to the instance basic information page.
3. On the instance basic information page, select the Consumer Group tab. You can delete the consumer group.
Single deletion: Click Delete in the target operation bar.
Batch deletion: Check all consumer groups that need to be deleted, then click Delete in batches in the top-left corner.
4. Click Confirm in the pop-up to complete the deletion.
