When a consumer group remains idle (with no active members) beyond the retention period for empty consumer groups (for how to configure the period, see Configuring a Retention Period for Empty Consumer Groups), it will be automatically deleted. You can also manually delete it in the console at any time. Constraints and Limitations
A consumer group can be deleted only when its broker version is 1.1.1 or later and its status is Empty/Dead.
After a consumer group is deleted, its consumption offset will also be deleted, which may cause re-consumption or duplicate consumption and other issues.
Operation Steps
2. In the left sidebar, select Instance List, select the target region, and click the ID of the target instance to go to the basic instance information page.
3. On the basic instance information page, select the Consumer Group tab and delete the target consumer group.
